East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall - Terms And Conditions
1 "Bookings can be made through Mrs Margaret Cram (the booking clerk), The Old Post Office, East Tuddenham, Dereham, NR20 3LT. Telephone 01603 880062. Payment for the hire should be made to the booking clerk. Cheques should be made payable to ""East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall""."
2 "Bookings will only be accepted on payment of one half of the hire charge AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. This payment is non-returnable. The other half of the hire charge, together with an indemnity deposit of ?75 must be received at least two months before the hire period commences. The indemnity deposit will be returned after the hire period, subject to deduction of all charges for any breakage's there may have been. All damage during the hall hire is the responsibility of the hirer."
3 "No intoxicating liquor can be brought into, sold or consumed on the premises other than purchased at the bar. Special orders, such as wine or champagne, should be given in advance. If in special circumstances a hirer wishes to provide their own wine for a meal or toast, authority should be obtained from Mrs Rosemary Bourne (the licence holder), telephone 01603 880529. NO UNDER AGE DRINKING IS ALLOWED."
4 "The Village Hall will either be unlocked for you by the Caretaker, or a key can be obtained from Mr or Mrs Turner (the caretakers), 23 Tilney Road, East Tuddenham, telephone 01603 880628"
5 The clubroom is not available for hire and is not to be used by any of the hirers guests. Rooms and equipment should only be used as booked. The snooker table top is NOT TO BE REMOVED.
6 "No nails, screws, posters etc. should be fixed to the walls, floors, doors or fittings of the hall. Decorations should only be put up with approval of the caretaker."
7 "Footwear likely to damage the floor, for example, stiletto heels, metal studded boots and black soled sports shoes and considered undesirable."
8 Property belonging to the hirer should be removed from the hall at the end of the time of hire and the premises SHOULD BE LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY. WASTE FOOD SHOULD ALSO BE REMOVED FROM THE PREEMIES. Failure to do So may lead to the forfeiture of the ?75 deposit. The caretaker will lock the premises no later than 1am.
9 "The conditions of the Entertainment's licence should be observed and nothing should be done to contravene the law on Betting, Gaming and Lotteries. NO PUBLIC DISCOS ARE PERMITTED."
10 The maximum number of people in the hall should not exceed 250.
11 No obstructions must be placed in the gangways or fire exits. Fire appliances must not be moved expect in an emergency.
12 Vehicles should not be parked so as to obstruct the entrance or exit and please make the minimum of noise on arrival and departure.
13 The Committee shall not be liable for injury or damage to or loss of property from the use of the premises or equipment.
14 The Committee shall not be liable for any illness suffered as a result of consuming food prepared on or brought on to the premises.
15 Our charges are subject to variation until such time as the full booking fee is paid.
16 "Hirers should, on entry to the premises, acquaint themselves with positioning of the fire extinguishers and exits."
17 Please note that there are no fridge/freezer facilities available. Caterers should be informed.
18 A First Aid box is situated in the marked cupboard in the kitchen
