The Village Hall committee is seeking a new secretary from the beginning of June. This post involves attending monthly committee meetings, taking and distributing minutes and also some correspondence, phone calls and record keeping. East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall presents the Counterfeit Bee Gees on the 1st of March from 8pm.

Tickets cost just £7.50 in advance and before the 9th of February or £10 there after including on the door.

Each year the garden fete is a resounding success. This year's fete takes place on Saturday July 23rd.

There will now only be one bottle bank for recycling glass bottles at the Village Hall, due to the imposition of new monthly charges. Breckland District Council has advised the Village Hall that charges will be reduced and recycling revenue maximised if the number of bottle banks is reduced. The Council assured the Village Hall that the one remaining bottle bank will be emptied more regularly, so please continue to use this facility.

Ray Taylor from Mattishall is running a fantastic campaign on the Mattishall Village website.
Following the recent tragic accident of David Jackson, Andrea, his mother has been campaigning to get improvements made to the stretch of road between Easton and Honingham.

* * UPDATE * * What fantastic news, it appears that finally a new roundabout is going to be put in which should help prevent further accidents and loss of life. This article on the EDP website details more.

The annual Fireworks event will take place on the playing field, on Friday the 2nd of November from 7pm onwards. Just pay for food.

Everybody is welcome. Please come and enjoy a drink in the social club bar afterwards.
